2009 Presidential Awardees for Outstanding MSMEs

This award was given during the Negosyo MSME (Micro Small and Medium Enterprise) Summit last July 8, 2009 by President Gloria Arroyo held in Manila. The award was given together with the Presidential Citations for Best Practices. The event is spearheaded by Go Negosyo together with its partners in the government and private sectors. Go Negosyo Youth Entrepreneurship Summit 2009

Go Negosyo of Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship (PCE) has been very aggressive in campaigning for the entrepreneurship awareness in the Philippines. They are driven by the advocacy that "Negosyo" or Entrepreneurship is the only way in this trying times to escape poverty. And the current administration has adopted Go Negosyo as their flagship program . Various caravans and roadshows has drawn a lot of business fanciers and has acknowledged successful businessmen in every field. And this year Go Negosyo is sponsoring yet another great opportunity for the aspiring entrepreneurs and this time focusing on the youth. The Go Negosyo Youth Entrepreneurship Summit is a one-day forum/expo which hopes to spark that entrepreneurial spirit among the youth. There’ll be forums with experienced Go Negosyo entrepreneurs and mentors who will be sharing tips and advice on opportunity-seeking, marketing, financing, product development, and all the basics of going into business. Government leaders will also be sharing their views on the need for entrepreneurship development in the country. And in this event they'll be awarding the Go Negosyo Most Inspiring Young Entrepreneurs.
